Ok, I've added the last 4 of the vin#. Is that sufficient, or should the whole thing be there?

I think a "#" should be added...along with production numbers...

Example:

1991 GMC SYCLONE
VIN: #1484 of 2998
.
.
.
.etc...

I think if you are going to put "vin:" then you might as well put the whole vin number. how about:
1991 GMC Syclone
#0112
etc.
etc.

I think that might look better, especially since we know trucks by the last 4 anyways.

Count me in for 1 regardless
Cool idea man, i quit wearing my real dog tags as while back, might try to bring back the style.

Ok...I'm still not sure what "stock" specs are.
The way I understood it:
1991 Syclone - 280hp
1992 Typhoon - 280hp
1993 Typhoon - 285hp
(all @ 4400 rpm)

Torque stayed the same, but is it 350 or 360?? and at what RPM?
3200, 3500, 3600...I've seen it different on a few Sy/Ty sites. I'd just hate to make them with the wrong "stock" info on them.

Now, for people that know their RWHP & Torque, I can put that in - just let me know at the time of ordering.

By tomorrow I'll have something official put together and start taking orders.

Thanks!

Hey, I have black dog tags (Real Gov't Issue) If you need them. I can see how much a box cost. Prolly not too much. If you run out of blank tags let me know. I can get them on base.

Keith,
What does a black dog tag look like? Forgive my ignorance, I thought they were all "bare metal" looking.

If anyone else wants one, they are available....go to my web site to view them and to order by Paypal. IF you don't have a paypal account, you can call me with a credit card.

www.bergerslaser.com

click on CATALOG then DOG TAGS......the web site is still a mess, so bare with me!

Thanks

govt issue would be cool, i am not sure about black but my one complaint about the current dogtags would be that they are a little too light weight and not has heavy has i would have thought thinking it was a dog tag. Granted i use mine has a cool keychain and it doesn't matter but i was expecting more beef to it, but for 10 bucks it was well worth it, everyone loves the fact they are customized.

My black tags are just that black. like they were painted. My chain was painted black too. More tactical I suppose but I thought they looked cooler. The chain is wearing down a lil but the tags are still nice and black.

Hmmmm.....the original 20 that I made actually came from Luke AFB. After I ran out of those I purchased 100 more blanks from Army surplus - they were identical to the original 20. As far as I know they are what the Gov. uses......but I am no expert on this - I'm just going on what my friend in the Air Force told me.

Gov't issue isnt anything special. They are just like all the other dog tags you get at the amusement parks. Its not like there is a civilian dog tag factory and a military factory next door:) I know for mine I paid $10 for the tags, chain, and silencers (rubber that goes around them) Mine have to have specific info on it:) I dont know what my boss would say if he checked my dog tags one day and it said Typhoon # 1893 on it. lol I have been caught with someoen elses on and that was funny.
