UPDATE 1-13-14, SHE IS SOLD. GOING TO PA. THANKS FOR LOOKING
UPDATE 12-29-13, Truck needs a new loving home so i can be dumb and own a offshore race boat.
UPDATE-7-12-12. Truck is back up for sale. Never completed deal with my best friend. He shipped out overseas with the Air Force.
Have replaced ball joints with MOOG problem solvers, Replaced the CV axles with NOS units, new AC delco blower motor and Window motor.
Clean rust free 1991 GMC Syclone, about 99% stock cond, Paint shines, cladding is perfect, everything work, and runs and drives perfect. Truck has 114k miles but looks better than some with 30k. This truck is a FLORIDA truck till 2004, The original owner of the truck was the owner of Autotrader.com, the truck has been garage kept whole life only seeing rain a few times. Has factory tannue cover in perfect shape. truck is not missing anything. The truck does not have any rust and never did. The truck has been undercoated since it was new. The under coating has been redone every few years.
The only modification that the truck has is L35 cylinder heads(which are a GM cylinder head that flow 20% more air), Crane roller tip rockers, for the updated head and rockers, a custom tune was made to accounts for the more air flow, truck has an catback exhaust. The head were sent to the machine shop and all new seals and valve job was performed. Since the head were off when reinstalled the heads, all the head bolts and rocker stud bolts are ARP performance bolts. The performance changes that were made was only to update to better technology. Truck was not modified to be a street racer. The turbo is in perfect shape, with no shaft play.
The transmission was rebuilt about two years ago and is in perfect shape and shifts how a Syclone should. The front differential was rebuilt approximately a year ago. This was not because the truck was beat on they are a normal wearing area of these truck and all trucks will need this sooner or later.
Truck has been lowered 2"(which i can put back to stock in about 30 min).
Truck has a 100% rebuilt front suspension. The suspension was rebuilt with all heavy duty MOOG parts, steering gear box was upgraded to a GM ZQ8(steering box out of a xtreme s-10), the steering shaft has been upgraded as well so the steering is super tight(no slop or play in the wheel), truck has all new KYB gas charged performance shocks.
All the motor work has about 2000-3000 miles on it. Im so confident in all the work that i performed, that I took the truck on a 1,200 mile trip right after I finished work on the engine(without one problem).
Just a little about me since i performed all the work on the vehicle, Im a Master Certified ASE auto mechanic. I worked in GM dealer for 8 years performing these same repairs on all makes and models. Not one short cut or expense was spared when performing any work. ONLY top quality parts were used.
