Anyone know anything on this truck? It is currently for sale in the Saint Louis area. I looked it over today from the outside only. Here's what I notice.

54,xxx miles
Battery relocated to bed.
2.5" cowl
Kenwood cd head unit
Tweeters on the dash
Kenwood amp
Oil/Fuel/Boost guages mounted on the cowl hood in front of driver.
Cracked rear passenger Ground effect.
Some peeling paint on the ground effects only
Some guage up high on the pillar pod
Looks like powere side mirrors
Polished rims
Missing center cap on front driver's side rim
Tinted windows.
Didn't see any rust.
Was parked in the grass so hard to tell but it may have been lowered.

Seems like some work has been done to this truck. Anyone here have a clue about it?

I am very ready to pick it up but want to do my research. Where else could I search to find out info on this truck? Can anyone out there shoot me a car fax on the vin.

Well I ran this on Car Fax and it has 2 owners. Both in mid Missouri. Was Gary from Mid Missouri? My cousin told me he knows this truck and one of the owner's names was Blake.

Anyone?

I don't think Gary had this one.

Glad I am thought of though :) Mine was 2902, and is now in North Carolina now? (i think)

Not sure which truck this is, I only know of a few Sy's but there are some that I've discovered that I didnt know existed.

Do you know this guys addy? I know of a Sy sitting outside in the grass off of Tesson Ferry rd, real near my uncles house, wouldnt suprise me if its this one.

Well this Sy is in Foristell (Pretty far west of Tesson Ferry.) Is the one on Tesson Ferry for sale? This Sy is from Marshall, MO per the car fax.

The one on Tesson isnt necessarily for sale. I just figured it MIGHT be cause it never gets driven. Its in Afton. Not anywhere near Marshall! :)

I am in Fenton/South County.
Not many owners in StL anymore.
All the cool ones sold their SyTys and grew families.

Its funny this truck comes up now.
To the best of my knowledge it's been for sale for about 4 years and as of recently has spent most of that sitting.
I don't recall what he was asking back then but he has lowered his price.


Where are you in St. Chuck Brett?
I have run into a couple SyTys out there and Gary keeps telling me there is another older guy (firefighter maybe) that has a Sy and needs a hand wrenching.
Recently, met a guy that owns the used car dealer on First capitol across from autozone he has a wht.gry Ty with a poor quality factory repaint.

I am by the Cave Springs exit. I think I may have owned the Ty that the firefighter now owns. Sure would like to wrench if maybe the 3 of us could get together (assuming I get this Sy)

4 years? wow!! I'll have to check on that.

I'm gonna have to check that out on that lot. I think I know the one you mean. Is this the one that is a straight shot across West Clay onto first capital? Did he say how much he was asking?

Forgot about the firefighter guy. He kinda droppped off the earth and I really didnt notice much since I sold the Sy. I would doubt his truck is the one for sale, doesnt sound the same. If my bid for aquiring a new truck works out id be happy to wrench a bit :)

Well that's three of us. Does the firefighter guy have a White over Grey Ty?

I drove up to the lot on First Capital last night and didn't see a Ty up there...........?

The firefighter guy has a Sy.

The used car place I meant is actually on Fifth St down by the casino areas.
There is an autozone on the left, little po dunk used car place on the right, kind of sits on a hill with a steep driveway.
He parks around back because he said too many people come in trying to buy the Ty. thats the wht/gry Ty with dealer repaint. they painted the cladding on the truck and it shows.

The guy doing my body work on my cladding is about to buy a Sy too, he had one stolen in 92.
His brother also has a Sy, thats how we met. That Sy is in Jennings, up north.

Met a guy in S County with a Sy that he only drives on nice days.
ATR Turbo, built trans, he says he doesn't race it anymore.
I gave him my number and email and never heard from him.

There's a Red/Red Ty I have heard is racing out at MAR.

Also, further out past Wentzville there's an older guy that has a Sy.
He has an evo and recently got back into his Sy.

Looks almost like we have enough people for a small gathering again.
