Thats what happens when you push a car into a damp garage and forget about it, id be willing to bet the floors and cab corners are gone, sadly its a parts truck

What a loss. It really bothers me when I see these trucks just rotting away. I get it that not everyone is an enthusiast but how do I have a plain jane 92' S-10 as my daily driver and it looks better than half of the SyTys I see? I guess some people just appreciate their possessions more than others.

I'm guessing since it's from northern IL judging from the Northwestern University stickers all over, it was most likely driven all year round and sat outside it's entire life. Most of the houses up there only have a 1-2 car garages since they are from the early 1920-30s. A decent detail can make most likely fetch another 1K out this truck in the condition that it is in. Throw some protectant on the cladding/interior plastics, vacuum the interior, clean the engine bay, etc.
If this truck is worth more in parts then I think I might bite on it.

Yes unfortunately the amount of salt Chicago pours over its roads in winter causes all vehicles to rust. That is why my Syclone is parked from November until after there is some strong thunderstorms in April to wash all of the salt from the road...

Would love to see this other guys posessions. How do you think rusted interior parts, filthy carpet and dirty seats is pristine?
Interior looks like shit and so does the rest of the truck. It was clearly abused and anything from that region of the states (unless faithfully cleaned and garaged) looks exactly like this truck - junk!

I had a nice clean, unrusted 25K mile GN that I drove year round for 2 years, also sat outside during the winter. In 2 years, I had bubbling at the bottom of the doors, rotted floor boards, and rust on the corners of the trunk lid. Needless to say, I got a junker Ty that was relegated to winter duty. Chicago winters are harsh. I did my best to keep the salt off of it but I drove close to 500 miles per week in all weather conditions. Wish I wasn't a dumb kid when I had that GN; wouldn't be sitting on my garage waiting to go the body shop.
