I got a hold of the owner on the title he said he will help me out with anything to get the title

be glad you not in texas with that title. They call that title jumping. I bet the penalty for that would be in the thousands. I found that out the hard way about 4 yrs ago. even if the buy dates it you have 30 day to change it over in you name or they start the fees. sucks.
