Yeah that boost launch can be murder. My Sy will take the Camaro down in the 1/8. However, my Camaro will come around my Syclone like it's attached to a post just past the 1/8 mile and like mentioned above, any race starting above 0 just isn't a fair race. You have to spend a little time getting an F-body to hook if it's a 6-speed and that is the Achilles heel on the street when racing a SyTy in an F-body with street tires. You better have some seat time if you want to keep it close at the beginning of the race. With that being said, if you have a stock turbo and you are pulling away from an LS-1 over 100 mph, he probably let off long before that.

Its hard to tell if he's pulling up to me at 100 when he's 4 or 5 cars back from the launch especially when you are driving:rotf:

I won't argue with that. Like I said, that boost launch definitely brings the pain on the street.

Not being a smartass, he said he was gaining on me. But my truck was acting up also so I wasn't looking in my mirrors, just paying attention to the gauges and pointing my truck straight. Also I know a rolling race would be another story.
