SYTY admirer on a Hyabusa

Me and the wife were ehaded up to the mall earlier and ran into a guy on a Hyabusa. He was cool as most of the guys on them are cocky bastards. He said he really liked the turcks and wanted to get one. I told him lets catch a light. So we get one. The light on the other side has an arrow and turns first. It was still light out so I couldnt see the arrow turning yellow so I know when to start spooling up. All I had to go by was the traffic turning from the arrow. I spool it up and the last car decided to do a stop and go for it manuever. The Hyabusa got to go first and I had to swerver a little. I was so pissed. When we got the next light there was too many carsa round. He looks over at me and says man that guy gave you the shit end of the stick on that one. We tried to catch another one but it just didnt work out.

Eh, it was running great this weekend. Still working on my idle and whatnot. Just gaining the experience rightnow, I dont totally know what Im doing so Im sure I have a lot left in my set up. Cant wait to hit the track though and see what Im running now.

I sold my Hayabusa to get my typhoon. What a bike. My busa was piped and had a powercommander. All jet Black. Chrome Rims. If that guy could ride he would of never been caught. Unless your typhoon is a 10 sec truck. You are right about most riders attitudes. They are supposedly invinceable. I think stock the Hayabusa is a 10 second ride with the add ons in the 9's. Sick fast that is what I remember the most. I lost my stomach everytime I nailed the throttle.

There is a guy I have a few classes with that has a turbo Busa. That must be pure insanty :shocked!:

I got a 9.9 out of my friends bone stock 06 Hayabusa the second week he had it. He has a power commander and exhaust now and it goes 9.4's with him on it.

Very cool straight-line bikes. Not worth a shit when it comes to handling though.

Uuuh...I didnt say I caught it. We were definately even for a second or two Even in terms of speed not side by side.

Still sounds fun. I wish I would have taken my bike to the track. The sickest video I have seen on a Hayabusa was Ghost Rider 2 I think. Look up Hayabusa 499 hp on the web and you will know what Im talking about. Turbo charged rocket.

I have a vid here somewhere of a Hyabusa racing a TT Lingenfelter Corvette on the highway. Its a nice vid. 499 for a bike though, thats nuts.

All I have to say ,you guys running nines on stock Busa should turn professional drag racers!! Awesome!!!
Also, what does your friend weigh 110lbs?

I weigh 130lbs and he weighs 210. I havent gotten a chance to run it since its had its new upgrades and been lowered and strapped.
