well since RK Kustom was the only place i knew of that could get the syty dashmats made... what exactly is preventing us from getting them made elsewhere? is there some kind of program file needed with for the embroidery? i would think with the high res logos on the NASTE site, getting these made shouldnt be that difficult. probably just some $$$ to get it going. i think theres enough new owners on the board now that we could get a decent sized GP.

anyone know a place to start?

Fabric covers to hide the high quality and severely cracked GM dash in your truck.;)

OMFG i need like 20 of those!
no joke i need at least 2 right now. Since RKs departion from our lives getting one (a nice one) has been a living hell, Neil, have you found some or what? Lets get something happening for these. We need sy and ty and I imagine once they have the plot can make any colors our little hearts desire; im down to help get this going, heres pics I just took, sorry its a little dark in the garage:

nah i havent found any, but i was thinkin it would be cool to get these made again. did Rick take them to a place to get them done? or did he go through a dashmat distro/dealer?

anyone have of getting ahold of Rick for the details?

adam you've got the VelourMat and the DashMat is the more carpety lookin one. I'm sure if we find a place that can do the embroidery, either style shouldnt be a problem. I'm gonna start searchin the net and emailing retailers.

wouldnt i only need it licensed if i was going to sell it for a profit? i dont see anything illegal if we're just getting them made for us.

Well back when RK Kuston had them going i worked with them to get one made with the SonomaGT Logo and the problem is if a commercial company is making and selling them reguardless of profit the logos still have to be licensed, whick RK Kustoms did get all of them licesned, and from my understanding he was the one doing all the embroidery.

Im in for a Typhoon and a Sonoma GT one.

There is a guy on ebay selling the ebroiderd floor mats, and i asked him about the dashmat, he even has the Sonoma GT logo for the floor mats, and he said he wasnt going to do anything with the dashmats right nos, but maybe in the future.

well it looks like we have enough interest here... maybe if we tell the guy who does the floor mats that we have a set number of sales he could make, that might entice him to do it for us. I've seen his mats on ebay, they dont look half bad.
