Fastest AWD SY I have seen run was Hoovers, 10.63 with a crappy 1.606 60' at KCIR in 2000

SY732- I'll see what I can do about getting some pics of it on the street pulling the tires I have some pics with it on motor with a 350 in it leaving but it doesn't make the low tq that the 400 does. The 400 will pull the tire on the street on motor, so I'll try and get the pic's and post them. Best E.T. at the track is 10.91 @ 122 on a small 175 horse kit, on the street I double that kit. I've given the hit to a 10.90 tubbed camaro that doesn't spin and I beat him by a car so.........

Why don't you ask around and see how many sub-10 machine have original 7.5" rears. It is the RARE exception not the rule. Any MORON knows that's NOT the best rear to use on a race machine, but as long as it's hookin for you I don't give shit. OK so there is 2 of you who are lucky that that unit is holding up so well. When you're in a heated street race and it breaks, you can bet every dollar you have that it will become your "excuse". (oh no, I'm sorry, all the pro racers are using 7.5s, your right, I'm wrong)

Never said anything about the quality of the paint, just a poor choice of color. If you haven't noticed yet, I DO respect good workmanship and fast machines. I have no respect for the owners who bad mouth others just to feel like a man.

Just to repeat, nice machine, crappy owner.

I would certainly hope that something so custom could hook better than a factory performance vehicle, any other result would have been a complete failure.

Man, one of my best friends has a WRX. It's his daily "beater" and it kicks ass. We both go out when it's raining and make even more fun of people on the street by lining up on either side of whatever it is and outlaunching the hell out of them. (We do it in the dry too, but it's funny in the rain)

Last week a mustang 5.0 came up and revved on us both, in the wet. It was ugly. I think we crossed the intersection before he got his rear tires across the line. Bahaha.

Anything with AWD and a turbocharger is cool in my book :wink:

I have'nt done anything to my truck but put gas in it and change the oil(since the little piston problem) But I will be switching to propane for a fuel for the nitrous system soon.As for how many bottles I ran though it before I burned a ring land? countless, I sprayed it daily for almost 12,000 miles I guess I just did'nt get lucky on that one. Since then who knows how many bottles I ve ran though it, I make someone famous almost everyday when Im on lunch at work. Oh guess I could have added something to the original topic since Im a tech at a subaru dealer. As for the blazer having countless hours in it? No basicly you said it, take a blazer beat the firewall back a few inches, move the engine as far back as possible I fabed up some solid mounts but stock 2.8 ones work fine buy some headers and drop it in and a th350 and some knowledge and you've a 10 sec ride. I should know being as i just put it back together after breaking a trans case and bending the motor mounts. under 1200 bucks and a no brainer. Hell I've got more time in to geting my 99 to 60'. And btw those pics do the paint no credit they don't pick up the pearl not to mention they're old and its got weld prostars on it now. my dyno #'s were 226 hp@4400 and 352 ft-lbs@2400 both curves were very broad almost flatline, pretty damn weak, but has went 13.20@104 a year ago, just a hair faster now.

Blue WRX on the cover of Turbo magazine this month... 267 hp - 227 lb -ft of torque - Dynapack dyno.

Car ran a 13.8@101mph in Palmdale...it has some upgrades - but also 19" wheels. Palmdale sucks for a track - Usually 2-6 tenths off for most people.

Have to ask some of the other Sy/Ty guys what they run up there.

As far as the other guy getting a 1.7 on a 215 radial - hes an exception rather than a rule. He has a good suspension setup - and it works. My Sy would 60 foot in the 1.77 range with low 13 second 1/4 mile times... My Typhoon ran a best of 1.70 on an 11.95 pass. I have seen several Sy's in the 1.6 range...but better than that and its probably rear wheel drive again...

On the street - everyday - against most stuff - an AWD car should hand most RWD cars their ass off the line...Subaru - Syclone - Typhoon - Skyline - Eclipse GSX

Hey Sean, Our wrx has put down 251.2 hp at the wheels on a dynapack before we could turn up the boost past 12psi. Now we have the fuel system done and are running 18-22psi. We expect at least 300hp maybe even 320hp. With 251 we were running 13.0 at 107mph. This is with the clutch slipping through 3rd gear.

It does happen to be the quickest PRODUCTION truck ever built. Ask anyone. I personally like mine for the rarity of the thing. By the way, when are you gonna mass produce your truck? Make 3000 trucks just like yours that will whip our best trucks ass and then maybe we'll talk. Anyone here, provided the budget, could build an extremely fast pickup that could whip your trucks ass.
