Haha, whoops. I actually haven't been out there on Thursday nights. My friends told me it was mostly older guys. And my Dad, I actually think he took my truck there one night when I was gone. Norcal, no worries, like Gary said, all our trucks look good at night. Mine's slow as well.

I was the youngest there when I went. Most were in their 40's. Still a good crowd. Not sure how they would see our trucks though. Most people I talk to laugh when I say my truck is a collector truck. :(

Haha, I know how that is. Oh well, maybe they'll appreciate a small group of them. And then just tell them how many were made, likely less than the car they have.

my schedule switched so i can work on fri and saturday if my dad lets me. and i'm going back to stock manifolds.

yeah, the headers are causing me way too many headaches and aren't worth it.

Makes sense. I hear the manifolds can be used still on a 10 sec truck. Are you getting them ported at all? I hear opening them up a little frees up a lot of power.

i'm dissapointed about the header issue. i'm going to put on the stock manifolds, but i'll be looking for atr or kb headers

I can agree with you on that one. My tranny was rebuilt less then 20K but I don't think it was rebuilt by someone who knows these trannies. It feels ok during regular driving, but when I get on it I get kind of nervous for the thing. I've been having serious traction problems too...lol...5+psi launches have been spinning all 4 for a while. Yesterday I did a CA. roll through a stop sign (late at night) and just hammered the gas and actually spun them a little. I sure hope that saying about "it runs its best just before it goes" isn't true...lol....because it seems to be running really good!!!
