In my opinion a 2 to 2.5" raise is all that I really like.. anything larger on our trucks just doesn't appeal to me so with that said i'd stay with your hood because it's not too large and it's not the norm cowl :tup:

Yeah I actually got the right pic this time and it worked yeah. Not my truck and I am not sure who owns it but I think he is from pa and has the truck for sale. Its a pic of a 4" cowl on a sy though.

ha ha ha yeah its kinda big my buddy makes graphics for free and he went a "lil" overboard on the size. prob my fault I told him to make it the lenght of the windsheld I just wish he would have made it thiner

Not so much the thickness of the letters, more of the span of the sticker itself

I really think a 2-3" cowl would look great on your truck. A cowl hood just looks right on a box style truck. The hood you have looks like it should be on a 3rd Gen. camaro. Thats just my thoughts, but its your truck and I'm a firm believer in doing what you want and not what everyone else tells you. Keep up the good work!

huh ?

He is talking about the vents in the hood scoops.. And I agree, they would look 1000x better painted black.. They just stand out too much the color that they are..

OK, you gotta forgive the crappy 5 min photoshop job but I think it would look at lot better somthing like this:

I tried the make the vents on the pass side black but it didn't come out so well..

As far as the rest of the mods, they would be a pita to do but they are completly possible if you are handy with a grinder, fiberglass, and bodywork...
