tbss goes down

well i was cruising around the other night by i57 and it exits to route 17 on the way to my house. so i get off of 57 and a tbss pulls up along side me.. gets in it gets out of it.. gets in it ... gets out of it. finally he does the 3 honks. i absolutly left him on the 3rd honk. i had to have at least 8 lengths on him by 120mph

Thats awesome. He obviously knew what he was up against. Im glad to see that there are some kills starting to flow in. Its getting to be that time of year again :)

Do you have a stock truck or is it modded? Just curious on how quick the TBSS's really are? Thanks and nice slaughter!

i would guess the truck is not stock,i didnt think a stock syty could beat even a stock tbss from a roll

modded,

built forged motor, precision 72mm turbo, a2a intercooler, twin 255 fuel pumps,

dyno'd 442 rear wheel horsepower and 632 ft lbs on a mustang dyno. with the torque converter unlocked. at 16psi

What is the comparrison between a SY/TY and TBSS from a dead start? You know, like a real race! Just curious stock to stock what our 17yr old trucks compare to with all the new luxury and technology advances? Thanks.

Bone stock awd tbss's go mid to high 14's around here. 2wd have like 3th advantage. A tune will drop a half second or more. Then the modding begins

my truck has not been to the track yet.

i am always willing to run, i am bringing the truck back to straightline performance on monday. they are going to be fixing a oil leak coming from the oil cooler it looks like. They also need to tidy up the tune on the truck a little bit. at idle it is going from 1,000 rpms back to 500 fluctuating, what are we talkinga bout mods on these tbss's? i know that they can be crazy fast. just wondering what you wanna put me up against.

are we talking race gas tunes? or street set up? waz up...
