My Ty came with a Fairbanks Racing transmission. It has a deep fined aluminum pan with the plug. Can't complain at all about it. Doesn't leak, doesn't drag. Not sure who made it, but Fairbanks may be able to help if you contact them.

I have the TCI pan and am pleased with it. I got it at the suggestion of another Syclone owner who tried two Derales and they leaked, right out of the box. I actually had the opportunity to compare the construction of the two at a wrenchiing session and it was a night and day difference between the two. The walls on the TCI pan are about 1/4" thick. And it also has a nice drain plug with a magnetic insert in it. The person who bought the Derale pan sold it and decided to go with the TCI also after seeing the two side by side. About the only bad thing is that you may have to do some grinding to clear the bell housing on the tranny. That's when those beefy walls will bum you out !

Yes, it is. That is the same part number that Summit racing lists for it and it is $109.95 sans S&H though them. HTH

I ordered one of these today in the 4 quart extra variety. No long pickup required. They have some casted in standoff posts to support the filter.

The guy that is doing my tranny assembly hates the Derale, so I'm going to run this other one. I will admit though, it has never leaked.
