Test and tune 5.8 1/8 mile

This was the last test and tune this year. 2009 was a terrible raceyear for us. Most of the races rained away. I also had some small problems holding back the times. This "test-evening" I finally found the 60 foot times again=). This V6 engine makes tremendous of torque so it´s not easy to get it hooked. When you get that power you will understand what I mean, with AWD I mean, it´s not that easy...=(

Hopefully we´re gonna perform better next year, with a good baseline=).If everything is gonna go my way, maybe we will visit you next year in US, with my truck.

I have one film of 5.8 / and 60 fot 1.4 this is 1/8 mile(compare this to my 9.04 run, the time on the 1/8 was 6.04)

Robert,Have you ever had a wobble under power? Its kinda like a boat when it hits another boats wake.

Yes. I tried to give you the tip about the wing. When you get power out of these awd cars, you start to make a negative downforce on the rear, so the reartire loose the grip, and starts to wobble and the tires tries desperatly to hook on to the track. When I put my wing on, it solved all my problems for me. If you see the film, the car is running like an arrow Hope this will help you.

Obviously I am not at your power level, but I did have a problem that was like hitting a boats wake from the side on a Typhoon while at WOT. New shocks fixed the problem.

Sway bars made it worse.

Obviously I am not at your power level, but I did have a problem that was like hitting a boats wake from the side on a Typhoon while at WOT. New shocks fixed the problem.

I have 3000.00 penske time adjustable in the rear and strange built the front just for the truck. these helped a little but not enough.

Just got off the phone with Goodyear.... they said the tires are my problem...they quit making these tires because of the wobble..even on 2 wheel drive cars.

Ok then. Good that you have solved it. It´s not nice when it wobbles. But have the wing in mind for the future.

Bad ass run! :tup:

With that new power, you can see its not as straight as an arrow anymore. Pretty darn close, but you did sway a little bit. I'm surprised it goes as straight as it does.
