Im a tall guy. 6' 2" minimum. My legs are long. I just dont fit in regular cab S-10 trucks easily. Now I know why I have a fullsize extra cab (duh, its comfy).

I testdrove a Sy today and it wasnt the most comfortable. At this point, I would like to drive a Typhoon to see the comfort difference. I am sure it is there.

I am 6' 3" and the Ty is comfy. You do pay a slight penalty in weight but if You happen to be that tall You dont really have much of a choice, You gotta put them legs somewhere...so You should get a Ty, much better in legroom, and You still have room to recline the seat even when its pushed back all the way.

I've often wondered how some of these tall guys are doing it.

Jeff Scott +/- 6'2"
Myclone +/- 6'4"
Daron +/- 6'6"
Matt Hoover is like 6'10" :)

I'm 5'11" and I dont' work well in a Sy. Could be the spare tire I carry around with me ;)

race or get outta the way
well on the lighter side i'm 5-6 and i got the seat pulled damn near all the way up so that my whole right foot can push against the firewall. :D

think this guy needs a ty!

I'm 6'3 and fit in my Sy pretty comfortably. Not to fond of the ride over really long distances. It depends how you're used to sitting. The Ty's space was nice though.

Thanks for the replies everybody! Suspicions...confirmed.

The thing is, I want to use the Ty as my spare car. Basically, it will just sit there, under a cover and I will drive it every week or two I imagine.

I mean, I could get by with a Sy, but why? If my goal was to build a 10 second monster Sy or something that needed the weight reduction, I'd be all over it, but honestly, a Ty really fits my domain much better.

Plus, I can use the Ty for roadtrips (short ones, LOL). I would like to buy a Ty soon and take it to Vegas though (SoCal native). Im worried about it getting jacked in Vegas though. So I'd prolly drive my truck.

Anyway, Im looking for a Ty now. Will update profile.

Anybody got one for sale? I got some cash...

As Ive said before...... If my 6'3" 220lb (at the time  ) self can drive ~1200 miles non stop in a sy then I dont see why anyone close to my height cant drive one local.

For some reason most syty owners are tall.

I have driven a sy to nats 2 years in a row, each year I say not again. LOL

I guess that is why I have a ty, and have the seat set back 2" additional to factory.

Of course I haven't gotten to drive my ty in 2 years now.

The last two vechicles I owned are the 2000 S10 4x4 that I have now and a 92 S10 2wd, both regular cabs. I'm 5'11" - 6' and I have no problem fitting in a regular cab and there both about the same.
