No, but Bruce is just a wimp when it comes to putting a few down. He sure as hell will be helping cook though. He caqn make a good steak.
Ok, most of this can probably be done over the phone. Couple questions for Bruce, sence he decides to make an event and make it as close as possible to his house then he can find out a good park site to do some of the above. Once that has been established then we can start posting what we can cook, steak, burgers, what beer to drink, and so on. So i'll give him a call and get his ass on it. Anyone else in the Austin area feel free to help. Jezz guy's lets get to orginizing this stuff. any objections?

WOW. Thanks for the offer man! I would gladly plop down the cash for a motor ready to go, but I have already committed to go the LS1/4L80E route. I definitely want to drive down and hang out once everything is finished tho.

On another note the new tranny is officially installed. I got a good zap from one of the plug wire not hooked up. Hurt like mofo but, funny as hell when your drunk. I knew I was drunk cause I started laughing and no one was around. We are going to have a good time in Oct.:friends:

Just got the cable back today. We never lost power for long up here in Conroe just a few minutes, we did see some 50-60mph winds from the northeast though for an hour or so at 4am. I think we got realy lucky that it headed further east like it did. Or we would have seen 80-100mph winds. Not to mention it weakend as it got closer to the coast. All is well up here in the northside. Im sure you guy's saw the news, there where so many people on the highways leaving town it was stupid to even try and leave. They where saying at one point on I45 the average speed was 4mph and what normally takes 4 hours to drive to Dallas was taking 24-30 hours. I stuck it out at the house like many up here and kept an eye on the garage housing the Syclone and Typhoon with the only boarded window being the garage's. At one point i was worried because my two garage doors are facing north but the house slightly blocks them from the east. I spent an hour making reinforcing the backs of the garage doors with 2x4's to protect my baby's. Friday i wasnt so worried about these so called tornado's they where expecting to have when we where on the north east side of the storm. I lived in Tulsa for 6 years so i know what a REAL freakin tornado is...Jeremy knows what im talking about.
Anyway all is well here in Houston all of us SyTy folks made it just fine.

HAHA Bruce i told you to stop testing your plug wires like that. They do make a tool for that. Speaking of being drunk, Thursday night i made my way back to my old neighborhood in Spring to a old neighbor's house and it was quite the Hurricaine block party.

I called Servando today and no answer but i did have a missed call from him an hour later or so. I havent talked to him recently although i have talked to Bruce and he sure has been working on his drinking sence my comment i made about his tolerance to alcohol. He's working up his tolerance to hang with us fellow Texans. I cant wait for this meet, it's getting way to close to anticipate. Bruce has been talking alot of smack with his Truck's, i might have to put the shame to him with my Ty vs his Ty. His Ty isnt "Stock" unlike mine. Im not scared as far as im concerned it's going to come down to the best driver. HeHe

2. 4pm Leave for Bone Daddy's restaurant
3. Afterwards, leave for Home Depot, 1431 meet, and stay for a couple/few hours

...working on a hotel site for overnight stay in San Antonio....
I will be flying into San Antonio from Tulsa saturday morning and riding w/Servando so I can't wait :tup: Look forward to seeing some new and old faces.

Servando's wife has put up the idea of a Best Western for people to stay at thats off of I-10 @ HWY 46 in Seguin. The rate is $59.95 per room and they said they would hold 5 rooms for us. The 5 rooms are together. It has a 24 hour restaurant next door for some to sober up at :lol: If this sounds good to you please post it so we know that enough people will show for this.
The number for the Best Western is 830-379-9631 and the rooms are being held under the name of Pennie De La Garza. Crystal is the lady at the desk that she spoke to.
