If you click on the links for their prices, they're comparing a Typhoon ebay "buy it now" price to an ebay Syclone with 5 days left on the auction. What a bunch of idiots.

Don't get too up in arms about it. Question of the Day and Answer of the Day are not meant to be serious. The author just picks and chooses his favorite answers from the days previous question, with little to no research on the validity of it.

It's supposed to be kind of tongue in cheek, with the real conversations taking place in the comments.

I don't know why turbo regals weren't in the list. Maybe because the many of them aren't under 10k. The turbo regals are hell of a lot easier (cheaper) to go fast with than most of the cars on the list. The cars on that list are either fragile (need upgrades), maintenance nightmares or expensive to modify.
