According to the numbers I have seen they will beat us in the 1/4 but not the 0-60. I'd like to see the dodge with an AWD version. Also Jeep is supposedly coming out with a 330 or so HP grand Cherokee with a hemi engine. Won't beat the sy/ty but may be an interesting SUV.

ya I have seen the 12.9 sec figure for the 1/4 mile...but don't see any truck coming close 0-60. Point--the syclone is still the quickest truck ever produced.

I always perceived this as 'Top Speed'. From the factory the L will do 140mph, where our computers shut us down at 126/127.
1/4 mile - It'd be close for sure. I'd have to pick the Sy, but my opinion is slightly biased. :wink:
0-60 - Forget it. My stock L could never come close to what a stock Sy is capable of. 8)

technically i think the L is the fastest production truck, and the syty is the quickest, and thats only because the L has a higher top speed, or some shit like that. but then again do you really go up to top speed on the track or street? i thought not! :fist:

I can't even get one to race me.. I see them all the time and they puss out everytime on the street.. haven't been next to one at the track yet.
bottom line here is that an 11 or 12 year old V6 turbo push rod is too much for a 2k supercharged 5.4L V8 to handle.. .. weak in mind.

If we could just all be thankful for what we have, and not worry about some pipe dream that someone had when they took too much acid. Or maybe it was just one of those races where the lightning was trying to race a vehicle what was turning 2 blocks ahead.
