well there is no way lingenfelter had anywhere close to that $ in the car.. People probably sponsored him half the stuff for advertising and they just threw it together to be cool. You also have to remember that most people in syclones dont drive around with C16 in every tank of gas, and spend over a year tuning for every last hp..

My hat definately goes off to Nolan, Tony and crew but for people to sit here and make sytys the only cool car/truck on the road is rediculous. 10's is not an easy feat. Just ask anyone who has done it. For those who are attempting to build a 10sec truck you will soon find out how difficult it is and how much money it *really* takes.

Amen to that brother, i got about 40,000 in my truck and the truck was 15,000 so , about 55,000. This does include , mccoy motor , hartman tranny, speed pro , 76 bb turbo, wilwood brakes at all fours, different wheels , hood, stereo, paint, driveshafts, almost everything has been changed or upgraded and all the little things that add up, it gets exspensive fast.

I have not had it out since the pepsi truck show at moroso, just did the wilwood brakes and bb turbo , mikes custom downpipe , als front suspension, and a few other things to lighten it up, but last time it was out it went 11.05 at 128mph :D

I believe the Sonoma was running 16psi. That's what it's display says at least.

I really dig it, but I don't find it impressive for the amount of work & money into it. Also keep in mind that this was supposedly Lingenfelter's daily driver for a bit ..??

A possible reason for the higher MPH. Is the Denali xfer case in that truck capable of 2wd/4wd shifting? We prob need TLoof in here to clarify. Last I heard, that was the setup.

He COULD be getting that extra mph by running 2wd for the last half or last quarter of the run.

Just a thought. That is really a setup I want to try. I need to head to Houston and see how Tloof's setup is working out. Maybe we can take my Ty down there and see how it works... ;)

That price is ludicrisp :drinking: I like the truck too and there is a lot left in it but if he's gonna stay AWD and expects to run consistent 9's he is going to need that 4L80 no 60 is going to hold long term. And even then his sixty foots aren't going much lower than a Hoover if that so then to run really fast they will need to turn up the wick to dip into the 9's consistantly. Definitely doable but its not worth that phat knot holy cripes :drinking: even my retarded stupidity can't justify that kind of philanthropy  for that I'll take a Sy and a Ty that run 9's please or better yet a Ty and a TT Vette 0X

Laptops shlaptops err bed time now...

Have you guys seen the dual fuel systems some guys are running, there are a few GN's around here, that have a 2-3 gallon cell in the trunk they can switch to on the fly!

Cool set up but once you get all the parts you are looking at $800-$900

the denali tcase should be an electronic shifting case. it should be able to switch between 2wd and awd on the fly.... i believe it uses the np236 case. it would use things like tps, prop speeds, etc to determine when the clutches should be engaged. it does not use a viscous coupling like our stockers do.

this is the tcase that is going in my truck... with the addition on a switch to override those inputs and force 2wd.... though the front diff stays engaged. but at least i can do the rear tire burn-out, switch to awd, and launch like a mofo thing....

should be cool :)

there are actually a few sys out there with dual fuel systems... Kinda a pain in the ass, and you will have some drain back of the pump gas into the leaded jug until it cleans the system out.
