things to do on the way back from nationals

Picking fights on I-65 since 2013
I have a few extra days off after nats.. and as long as my truck is in one piece the girlfriend and I might want to stop by a few places on the way back and check out the sites or visit with sytyers..

anyone have any suggestions on things to see or stop at from Kansas city to New Jersey??:D

Nothing really between KC and St. Louis. St. Louis downtown is good for 5-10 minutes. (I hate that town after traveling there several times)

Then you probably going up through Indy? You could stop there, check out the track, museum.

not bad suggestions, might just drive back and relax for a few days around the house.. I'd say if I was trailering my ty, I could save you a trip to the ports and bring robert's to maryland.. but at the moment, I'm driving my ty out.

Stop #1 - Take a 1000+ mile detour to my house and drink some beer with me.
Stop #2 - Go to Savannah and eat some grouper that'll make your head explode.
Stop #3 - Swing by Waller's house and hang a few air fresheners around his neck.

Sounds like a plan.....what time ya wanna meet up?

Its a little out of the way but you could goto Bowling Green and visit the Corvette Museum. Just north of Bowling Green area is bunch of caves, that you can visit if your into that stuff .

Bowling green is just 2 hrs from me. If you want to drive back through with me, i can provide you free housing sunday. Then Monday you can head to bowling green, vette factory, vette museum and worlds largest caves.

interesting ideas..

the trip to georgia sounds fun.. cept its a little out of the way, and i have this weird fear of chickens :lol:

KC-Louisville stay for free if you want

Drop down to Bowling green, see vettes, caves, then go to Nashville for the night.

Nashville to the coast stay night on coast

Drive up the coast home.

Let me know if this is the plan. There is a free place to stay just outside Nashville too.;)

i'll have my 24 yr old girlfriend with me, she'd have a blast doing that..

i was looking at the map, detroit isn't to far out of the way, I just have no idea what i'd do there.
