That blackness on the center piston suggest alot of heat caused this condition. Of course being they are so clean would suggest this motor wasn't rich at all. Hopefully the block isn't hurt. Some honing anf send it.

Holly shit Don that had to be hot as hell to reshape forged pistons! Is it all possable your fuel system ran out of enough volume. Yuk!!

yeah i am guessing since i had a broken wastegate line i overboosted and this happened. with cometic head gaskets by looking at them i can not tell if i had a head gasket blow out or not they look ok to me but they are not like normal gaskets were you look at them and see half the gasket missing.

what kind of fuel was in it?what boost do u think it seen did u record the run? what did it do that made u know something was wrong?were u running a wbo2 ?just curious

i started it a couple days after i got back from the dyno and it had a noise, i thought it was the fender well bangging around. sounded like it and i knew it was not bolted in all the way so i took it out anyways. when i got on it i heard noise when i got out of it when i was cruising back to normal speed and saw smoke so i pulled over and from idle to 1800 rpm it made noise and smoked but went away after 2k rpm i kniew it was the motor at that point and had a friend pick up my truck and trailer loaded it up and took it apart. it was tuned on 93oct and no wideband.
