I have no intention of dropping my stuff off anywhere. I'm a du-it-urselfer. I have done everything to my truck myself (except trans rebuild). Including motor build, body work, complete repaint, etc. Once i get the tunning down with the ostrich i'm hoping to hit 10's this fall.
wow, all bow before the expert! I'm about sick of wannabe experts like you that think you have the experience to bash me. You don't have even close to the whole story here.So you claim to have built one truck.... hey, congrats! but you don't have near the experience or knowledge of this particular truck build to to be making these judgements. My god, If I could do complete builds from what I see roll into my shop for 6 grand, I'd be rich. give me a break. I've been working on sy/ty's professionally for 14 years, and on my own stuff many years before that. You think you can build up a busted up bastardized truck like hermans was for 6 grand and make it last? what a fool.
I've built alot of trucks in the same price range as Hermans was to be, with no complaints. why? because most every truck i've seen in the last several years has been screwed up by other so-called expert shops or garage DIYers like yourself. MAYBE you've done well, I don't know since I dont know who you are. Most trucks show up at my shop after THOUSANDS of dollars spent only to blow up or be slower. My prices are carefully discussed with every customer and agreed to before hand. There's alot alot more to hermans story than I'm going to get into here. I'll be polite and say it's between him and I.
the bottom line is a have a pretty long list of references that anyone considering my services can contact. The few unhappy customers on here don't even constitute 1% of my business.
So herman had his say, give it a rest.....
