I've been looking at the GT35R for a while and reading posts about the turbo. Every one that got one seems to love the turbo. Decided that ballbearing is worth the extra $$$
What I like is that you apparently doesn't need a high stall TC. With high stall I'm talking about 3000rpm and up. The turbo seems to be very "streetable" for that (in my opinion) big hp numbers it can produce.
Does anyone run the "ported shroud" version that supposed to help against the "surge" problem.
Also looking at the diffrent exhaust housing. V-band with external WG really makes a clean installation IMO.
Anyone running GT35 with a internal WG and a stock stylish actuator http://www.turbotime.us/images/PTE-PBO081-1005-hires.JPG ?
From what I've read the 0,85 are the a/r used in our trucks?
Would a/r 0,82 (external with V-band exhaust) dramaticly change the performance of the turbo in our trucks.
Alot of thought and questions.
Hope that many will contribute with experiences and advice.
