Throttle body bushing

I know I've seen some info on here before about this, but I can't seem to find it...

I have a considerable vacuum leak when I run the bike tube test. I couldn't pinpoint the leak but checked all of my fittings and replaced all of my lines with silicone hoses. Initially, I thought the hissing sound was coming from the egr, so I deleted it. Still have the problem...

Today, I had my g/f run the compressor on the tube and listened for the leak up close. I inadvertantly put some pressure on the throttle linkage and noticed the hissing sound changed. I can wiggle the linkage a bit and get the sound to change. I read before somewhere that the bushings in the TB can go bad. I need to fix my problem quickly and am wondering the best way to do it.

Should I order a factory replacement? Rebuild the TB? Send it off to be rebuilt, enlarged, etc? Buy a holley/edelbrock TB?

From the factory there is no throttle body bushing.
Its a steel shaft shoved in a hole in an aluminum tb.
Eventaully the harder steel wears away at the softer aluminum and the leak gets worse.

There is a guy online who will bore your tb out to a 52mm and add needle bearings to the tb shaft.
Except its $189 just for the mods, no core swapping.

He also mods your TB airfoil for free to match if you have one.
They are selling modded tb or you can send them yours, 52 mill bore and they install undersized bearings on the
shaft to stop leaks(GN's are made like that from the factory)

They charge 179/00 to do the upgrade and bore.
Here is another link http://users3.ev1.net/~thor10/tbodytest.htm
and there # is 512-336-2507

That's the thread I was reading before. Couldn't find it again though.

Unfortunately, I don't have the option of taking the TB out and mailing it somewhere. My Ty is my daily driver, and I need a way to fix it in a day/weekend. Any suggestions?
