it would be better if it was placed on the syty.net server.smaug said:protosy said:i am a php programmer on the side, this would not take very long at all. it could easily be setup to include scans of the time slips and what not. searchable/sortable by fast et, fast trap, awd/2wd, etc.

exactly.protosy said:If we put the database on here, we could then tie it into the phpBB code and have it use the same username/password/logon information so the timeslip information could be self managed. this is probably ideal.
wow, good call, havent seen any of those factors on any other boards.the thing could do all sorts of stuff, like... require timeslips to be "authenticated" by other members of the community, offer a place to post the build that you were using at the time when you ran the numbers, store the track, elevation, weather conditions... i mean the sky is the limit.

Turbo 6 integrates it as part of your user profile, which I think would be ideal.
It's about time for us to upgrade to vBulletin anyways...
Be nice to add some new features for a change.
VBulletin would be a beautiful thing. Of course that costs money and im not sure how much the syty.net account has. We could however setup a section for donating members.protosy said:Looks like a pretty decent tool. I was thinking we could either go vBulletin or Nuke.

Im pretty sure you can with VBulletin, but I stopped looking into it cause I figured it would never happen.
