Timeslip vs G-tech pro

A lot of people are wondering how good the G-tech is, compares to the timeslips.

Be your own judge, when looking at these runs and times (I like it very much, and it´s a very good tuning tool for me)

Perhaps it wasn't positioned perfectly horizontal.

very interesting robert, I may have to invest in one some day... I wonder if its as accurate in slower cars (more time would theoretically allow for more error)

thats awsome, the only differences seem to be the calculations(varience in 60 ft. &mph).for $250.00 you gotta like it. i have a 12 second truck and have came up with the same results.that video is making me think about the nationals!

Actually, I can confirm what MarlboroTyphoon is saying. The original G-Tech was notorious for over optimistic calculations... and the MPH was always 5 mph fast or so. I've even used one in my Syclone and other cars, and gone to the drag strip, and via first hand experience I can say it's true.

On the other hand, the Datamaster Quarter Mile Calculator has been very useful as a tuning tool, for me, as it's closer to my drag strip times and very consistent. If you improve the power of your truck and it "feels faster" and Datamaster QMC starts reporting numbers faster than you're used to seeing; it's almost certain that you'll get new best times the next time you go to the dragstrip. At least in my experience.

Judging from what Robert posted here; the new G Tech Pro performs as well.
