Timing problem

I had a problem with something that looked like a vacuum leak, but end up changing the distributor pick up, everything was fine, i even had to timing it. I did it, but the problem started when i replaced the spark plug wires, after that, i got backfire, marked the distributor cap, i need the firing order, is this right? 165432, but need the one for the engine, already searched but nothing.

Yes that's right. #6 is the one to right

Google search or go to autozone and they will print out the firing order on the cap and engine!

nothing on autozone, there tons of info, but i need something just for the syty's

Syty's have the same firing order as the rest of the 4.3's

Standing on the front, left side 1.3.5 & right side 2.4.6 is this correct?

Here's your sign! As posted above , I went to AutoZone and asked them to print it out and that will be .53 cents to drive up! You can slo google image it to and print it out at home !

There use to be an awesome, interactive ignition system at Richard Le's old site www.whitetyphoon.com

You can still get to old versions through the "Way Back Machine" or whatever they call it.
