I think you might be thinking of Dean Ollar's old typhoon. That is the only video i remember, although I have seen some very sexy pics of this truck leaving OTB.

And yes, I also remember that challenge. Would have been fun to see go down.

He ran 9s in the 1990s, then kind of dropped off of the face of the internet. I used to have video of his truck on an old hard drive. I'll see if I can find it this evening.

On an evenfire motor and a 66mm turbo I believe it was.

This truck is probably my most favorite out there. Him being a very nice guy helps as well.

I believe he is in south NJ/south eastern PA area..

truck is black/black..

All i know is what I've seen in the few pictures that are out there.. Hell I didn't even know this truck was still making passes..

I'd love to see this truck in person, its so close too.

THis truck is converted to 2WD on original chassis. Think its got a Bowtie Block, Water to Air intercooler, The cladding was removed around rear wheel wells so larger tires could fit, Caged, I had some videos of the truck @ Atco but they were on my old camera, not my new one.

Think truck ran high 9's low 10's but with his outlaw truck he has no time to play with the typhoon.

I am fairly certain the video they are thinking of is actually Dean Ollar's old truck. I have only seen still pics of Ferricks, never a video.

I think the last time I hear on it was 9.60's iirc but that was years ago.

I bought the crank I am running in my motor from Tom.
