Took a TBSS on the Highway

[BMFB]

was going home from the local cruise and was going slowly down the right side of an empty 3 lane highway when this TBSS pulls up next to me and just sits there. I had my laptop open and was looking quickly at my fueling table at the time, but when i looked up I had seen that he was there and was 'barking' at me with his truck, flooring it for a second and then slowing back down. I decided to give it a try and floored it. I got the jump on him by a half a truck, and starting at 65 I managed to pull 4 on him before I let off at 110, then he ricer-flyby'd me and kept going. Didn't think i would win that one.

Ya i raced one as well off the line. I had about four carlengths as well didnt even boost launch.

I think off the line and a 65 roll to 110 are very different things though

Nice. I come across a murderd out tbss evry once N a while on the highway coming home from work I walk away from him everytime but still everytime I see him he trys me. Maybe one day I'll jus let him when.... Na

nice kill. I loved my TBSS, everything but off the line. From a dig its a dog, but on the highway they are pretty fast. and mpg sucks

nice kill. I loved my TBSS, everything but off the line. From a dig its a dog, but on the highway they are pretty fast. and mpg sucks

agree on the mpg, my tbss says 13.4 at all times!! TODAY ,I raced my wife in hers from 75 to aprox 125. From what I can tell, I ended up putting about 20+ cars on her!! It was a slaughter! She said she saw a puff of black smoke come from my truck and then I was gone! She said my truck looks pretty squirlly when pulling away. Must be the drag radials.

I absolutely hammered a TBSS up an on-ramp in the GN a while back. Dude thought he'd beat the faded black car to the merge, but had to realize he made a mistake when he heard the open dump whiz by him.

The one new SUV I'd think twice about running is the Grand Cherokee SRT-8. I've seen those things run low, low 12's with just an air filter and a tune.
