I think the fastest I've hit in anything was 115 or so in my Typhoon. Another board member, who shall remain nameless told me "if you can keep up, you won't get a ticket"... and he was in a position to back that up. Of course, seconds after that phone call, a full size Ford SUV pulls in between us, and I needed to play catch up. I stopped looking down at the speedo around 110 and kept my foot in it for a while longer.

170++ in 5th gear with 500rpm left and all of 6th gear "probably about out of hp at that point anyways" in the z hell i hit 150-160 in the z while on the way to home coming with jim in the car.
135ish in the 92 ty back in 01-2ish when i broke the 1st motor in fl 1200 miles from home with jeff and tara in it. felt fine but i had it lowered some and was going straight.
135-145 many times in the gns

Had my Ty up 146mph racing a Lotus Espirit V8TT, fastest I have driven in that brick.

It made 890rwhp @24psi boost. It was at 19psi during the 199mph run so probably just under 800rwhp. I sold the car and everything from it to do my Typhoon project.

Speed was calculated with the East Coast Timing associations equipment, which I believe measures time between 2 points. BTW, in the video the view from the outside of the car was a licensing run @150mph, once I put it in 5th I just cruised down with little acceleration.

The card reads

85+++ in my GN ;)

At least 130 in my Sy before the new build. Not exactly sure how much past the speedo I was.

I have done 180 in my Dinan S2 M5 and it was smooth and still going. Hopefully I get my TY tomorrow and will let you know about that top speed.

130mph in my Daytona Iroc R/T, this summer i am hoping to the bury the speedo- goes to 160mph

About 158 in my 07 Mazdaspeed6

147 in my 91 Tracer LTS (Hit the fuel cut in 5th)
155 in my buds 06 M3 Vert 6spd
130 in my buds 92 Subaru SVX
145 in my friends 02 Lexus IS300
160 in a Stage 3 01.5 S4

Been fast in a ton of cars, those are the notable ones over 130 I can recall.

175 (speedo indicated) on my '02 ZX-12R, and 180 (speedo indicated) in my '08 Busa. It is kinda hard to look down when you are cooking along that fast. Only had my truck up to 100 or so. Hard to get any faster in between stop lights! :tup:
