Track Rental MIR

Just wanted to let anyone know there is a Private Track Rental at Maryland International Raceway on October 31st. It is $100 to race all day. Please contact Bobby Mason, he is running the event.

This is primaraly a GN event but it is a blast there were 2 TY's there last time plus a fair amount of WRX's. Make lots of passes!!

i am in if the ty is done. dont know if i will make many passes though but a couple manybe. is there any rules, i know with some track rentals cages, fire jackets and even helmets are not needed.

I was there last time with my stocker '92 TY. It's a great event, you could do laps if you wanted to, I'm definitly there. I ran a 13.84 with an after market oil pressure gauge and crappy tires. I'm looking to get a 13.83 with my stock gauge working and a new set of rubbers!!!....JK. I hope to see more people with SY/TY's there to give the GN boys a run for their money. I haven't had the time nor the $ to make my TY quicker (YET!). There were some awesome GN/T-types and a couple of heavy hitters there. Just a good time all around. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

All the rules are in place. They jumped on us about helmets right away last time. But both lanes are open. Plus everyone brings food for the grill and sodas. Everyone chips in! Just a good time.

I might be in I'll have to check the calender but it sounds good. I don't think I will make too many passes but I do wanna get a time on the Sy.

I think that would be sweet!. Just have them contact Bobby Mason. That would be cool to see some Corvette Vs Gn Grudge Matches. There were some 10 sec GN's there before.
