I didn't mean to open that door....Everyone needs to calm down and start reading before they speak....once again...I had to go back and read my post to ensure that the word "NEW" was in front of the word camaro....I couldn't find the relavance of someone posting the weight of a 2000 SS camaro???!! I have had a couple on the scales and the 2010 Camaro weighs 3920-3990 lbs.(4k).....so lets do the math TBSS 4600...minus various removable interior pieces and spare 250...=4350lbs minus 4000lbs(weight of camaro) =350lbs like I previously stated....

That's not where you ****ed up, where you ****ed up is that you posted this crap in my kill thread. Why can't you go brag about your TBSS in the off topic section? I posted a story about a TBSS I raced and people like you have to come in and make sure everyone knows what it really is as if we are all clueless. It would seem that by this action it is you who is clueless and you should go praise your ride somewhere else. You don't even own a SYTY, why are you here? Why are you trying to make us see (what others already have tried) what the TBSS REALLY is? I just don't get what your point is in anything you have said here already, what is your point? My point, in my original post, was that I raced a guy in a TBSS and decided to post about it on SYTY.NET in the KILLS section. So I ask again, what is your point? We know what they are and we know people like them, I am thrilled you own one, now you can go brag elsewhere.

I have seen a few SS Camaros run @ a track & never even run a 13,they all were 14 sec's & slower, they could not get them to run that hard, probably need more practice launching. Altitude approx 1300 FT
IIRC trap speed was about 100-104 MPH,they just are really heavy also, just under 4000 lbs
These newer musle cars are just too damm heavy just like the Mopar cars.
They all need to go on a diet.

The question at hand wasnt that he beat a tbss. People where questioning about all of his kills. He posted another thread with videos prooving these kills.
People like you who come into a kill thread (thats made to brag about kills) and start reeling off facts about how much bullshit it is, is the reason why now one wants to post there race kills. I enjoy reading the kills. I like it that there is asshats out there who buy expensive fast cars and have no clue how to drive them. Or people who talk shit about how fast there pyle's are because they read it in a book or on the internet.

But for the record....as a TBSS owner and liker of Syty's.....I would call bs on a few douchebags on the TBSS boards if they bashed a typhoon and how slow they are and have zero potential they have for 5 1/2 pages too.......Good job on the kill against the turbo tbss(although maybe someone should have told him to install his exhaust dump AFTER the turbo)..

Whatever punk.......This is your thread....A moron could hear the splat of the exhaust...I'd bet it was a mid mount turbo kit which uses the factory flex pipe. 9 times out of 10 they don''t hold up and blow apart....... Netting a whopping 3psi ;which makes them about as fast as a stock one.....congrats!! Nice kill. Go back to your "ME" party with your little nutswingers. I've seen srt4 neons shit all over bolt on ls1's plenty of times up in Colorado... I have no reason to call a ty driven by someone that can drive it like he stole it take out a gay Trailblazer SS especially given the altitude. Why all the call outs on his kill story?

Its funny, they aren't even call outs, just mainly bragging and educational posts like we don't know. As if we really need to be MADE aware of what else is going on out there. I think a lot of people that come and read this stuff think that most of us only know about SYTY's. It just isn't true, if you read through my kills and even the titles of my videos, you would see I don't stick to racing kids in their moms Civics. I get around and I pay close attention to what people have and what they do with it. Hell I even admire a lot of it. Truthfully, I think the TBSS is a nice looking ride, it was comfy but really just never gave me the same feeling I get in my TY. Power wasn't there either compared to my wifes stockish Ty. But the thing is, I don't need someone elses testimonial in my kill thread to make me see the light, I have raced them, driven them, and seen what they can do and I think its great but at the end of the day, this guy still got raped, it did happen, and that is all there is to it. Plain and simple.

BUT.....I stick to my original statement. When I beat some LS1 Camaro on the street in my 4cyl Miata...I have NO right to bark at him about how he was beaten by a 4cyl. THE TURBO VEHICLE HAS THE ADVANTAGE!!! In general...A turbo is just as easy to install on a V8 vehicle as anything else. Still reliable,driveable and tame....But ussually netting way too much power to control for the street. Tytillidie obviously built an extremely nice and quick truck. I truly admire it.....NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY...Why I was attacked...I'll never understand. Why that TBSS didn't struggle to hook ,smoking the tires through 3rd gear and still get left by the AWD truck is beyond me. My opinion...only is that there are a few people out there playing mechanic with Zero expertice. With that being said.....The race happened,the results are true and the better truck won....I simply stated that TBSS's have potential to go fast...We may just disagree on how easy it is...I'm okay with that. No hard feelings. Can't we all just get along?
