my builder passed away unfortunately, he was from LI.

There is another guy out there who is familiar with SyTys, he used to be on this forum but certain "know it alls" gave him shit when he first joined and he left, but he does know his shit and I believe he is popular on the Turbo Buick forum. If I cant find him on here, Ill try and ask over there.

Yup, he definitely knew his stuff.

Which is too bad. I pulled up his post history, and read the threads. Of the three "transmission guys" (Chris being one of them), Chris appeared to know what he was talking about, had exciting innovative products in development, and displayed a genuine interest in helping and contributing to the SyTy Community.

After reading the threads, I can see why he left, and I don't blame him. I hope he's doing well.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I didnt got back and read the threads, but I do know I talked to him through email back in 2006 after the crap on the forum started.

With those mods you will need more than a simple trans rebuild. I would find the best to trans builder you can to give it a chance of holding up.
