TruckFest at Bandimere...anyone going???

Just wondering if any Sy/Ty's a rolling up to Bandi this coming Sunday for Truckfest? This will be my first year without my Typhoon racing up there, but I will be cheering for the black V8 Ty....see ya if your going.

This is also the first year Will Steveson is not attending :rant: ....bummer, he is funny to hang out with at the races!

My Truck won't make it this year (show only anyway). It's riding the jackstands proud. My wife and I might make it, but we're not sure yet. Trying to figure out if we have enough money after Mile High Nationals. :lol:

Yep...that was it, until I sold it...but I won't even go there again. I hope some more Sy/Tyers will be showing up then last year, wasn't enough in the last couple of years.

The v8 Ty is defiantly going and I hope that Jon Fry ends up makin it out Sunday, so the Lightning crowd can go home early with their tails between der legs! :lol:

You sold it? Bummer. That was a sweet Ty. Did you ever break into the 11's with it before you sold it?

Got pics and # of the V8 Ty? I'd love to see them and add it to the MHST photo registry.

Video of John Fry's truck would be awesome too. I won't make it tomorrow.

Yeah, been talking to a guy on MSN Messenger for several days now that is already clearing it with customs and arranging a flight here from Vancouver for him and his buddy and then they're going to drive it back. Probably this Friday.

Thanks man... I really loved this thing and know I'm gonna miss it when it's gone.

Truck fest is getting worse and worse every year...there are too many necks in their crapper's clogging up the fun for guys that actually wanna run and tune the trucks at the track to get em dialed in.....the rest wanna see how loud/stupidly slow they can get. :rant:


Anyway, the v8 Ty was unable to make any nitrous passes, but made a few ALL motor runs...the best was a 11.44. Speeking of nitrous my other old bone stock Syclone was there and ran a 12.92 with a 125 n/x wet hit and an intake...YEA! :tup:

Abe, your Typhoon looked great....hopefully some more will make it out next time! The v8 Ty(aka Corba slayer) will being runing a few cars Friday night in front of the shop if any of you want to see some s/c woop azz!!!
