i don't see why it wouldn't fit if it was a regular jimmy and not a zr2 or anything

Re: True Trac rear end ??

Nope. It's suppose to be similar to a Zexel Torsen LSD. It doesn't provide 100% lockup, from what I've read.

I Was Going To Use The True Trac In My Sy But It Was Back Ordered Thru Summit, So I Went With Carbon Posi Unit, I'd Def Snatch It Up And Use It Or Sell It.

The TrueTrac is a niece piece.

Def check gear ratios, since somebody obviously had it put in, it's possible the ratios were swapped (front and rear) to something other than what the glovebox plate would indicate.

It certainly is a better diff than the factory Gov-Loc which isn't a limited slip. More of a limited spin, by design.

The biggest head ache you're going to run into is the rear wheel sensors, if you're still running ABS. The 93 doesn't have any.
Not to hijack this thread but reading this reply reminded me of a question I had.
Do the SyTy's have separate wheel speed sensors on each rear wheel, as opposed to one sensor at the output of the trans. like most GM trucks?
