:tup: Nice two tone. I like it. Looks a lot like Epix's, but different color combo. It's cool to see someone doing something different with the hood. I like the vents, but I'm not a big fan of it. You probably could've done something similar, but better looking IMHO. Shoot that cat if it gets near your truck! :rotf:

Thanks guys, and yeah the cat is going to be an inside cat for awhile.
As for being in a hurry deadlines are deadlines and alot of other projects we are trying to get done. But no worries I have the other 2 typhoons taking up my jackstands. :lol:
Just wait for the interior pictures the half seat cover look amazing and everything is falling into place.

Nice color combo. The truck is looking great. Im going to be looking back at this thread and that door handle setup if I ever repaint my blazers.

I am using an aftermarket popper(for shaved doors) but Mattw seems to not have any complaints about using an extra rear window release. But I will take some pictures of the set up I tried in my other tailgate that was cut out for speakers but makes it perfect to see what is happening.
Thanks, unfortunately I can not make homecoming since that date is the same for Back to the Fifties and the truck will be there in a vendor booth. Hope to make it out there one of these years, looks like a great time.
Thanks I like it alot, the color scheme has been in my head for along time, went another route for awhile but when it came down to it I went back to this.
Yeah your old ty will be 2wd bagged, body dropped and made into a convertible. Probably throw a 4 banger in there too. :rotf:
No soon it will be rebuilt and turned into a clean stock ty with only minor reliability upgrades, but full out suspension, brakes and a spruced up interior.
But until then she sits looking like this. Also you would never believe the amount of hard pack snow on the front of it when we got back up here.

When I first started to read your reply I thought you were serious. I was gonna have to make a drive there with a trailer and buy it back :lol: Cant wait to see progress pics when you get around to doing it.

I'm thinking we need to round up the gang for CC this year. Maybe we can con some of the other dignitaries to show up.
I'll probably be in MI the week of btt50s. I thought they didn't let anything post 65 in? Different rules for booths?

|As far as the windows etc, did you use the old rubber wqeatherstrips or get new ones? Mine is in the shop for a full respray and I am interested as to yours. I ordered mine from LMC truck.

I ordered new but threw the old in for the time being since I did not get it in time before interior. So I threw the old on to cover up the sharp edges. :tup:
I have friends who have the stuff from lmc and it fits good and works great.
