Tune up items

I need to do a tune-up on the Sy and I have a few questions. I just got it from my father in law so I am a bit new to the ignition systems on these trucks and what is best for them. Here is the list of parts that I am going to get:

cap
rotor
plugs
wires
o2 sensor
map sensor
IAC
fuel filter

I have contacted ATR and they said I can get the plugs, wires, o2 sensor and fuel filter from them. The leaves cap, rotor, o2 sensor, map and IAC to get via other means. Should I get all of these items through a place like Summit? Should I just get ALL of the items from Summit? Is there one brand that is better than the other on these items? I was just going to go with Accel stuff but I see they have Accel MSD and theirs is most expensive at $26. I don’t mind paying more for quality as long as I get it in value.

Any help would be great...

Thanks,

Alex G.

I forgot to ask you Hood, do you do general auto parts as well or go faster parts too? ;)

Support the syty vendors and go through them. I'm always willing to help new owners get their trucks in order, so feel free to give me a call if you'd like.

Looks like Hood has you covered.

I'd get your tuneup done, and consider getting Datamaster ASAP.

When you ask for boots, are actually referring to the 90 deg boot on the dist and the straight/90 deg boots on the plugs? Or are you referrng to to the heat protector boot made by Taylor, others....?

Either way, I carry all of these in stock as well as plug wire heat shielding.

I'll just reply to the PM you sent to me.
