Turbo Balancing ???

I have done a search and after not finding a answer to my questions. I figure that I would put the questions out in the open.

1. If you order a new turbine wheel for a TDO6-H and it states the following. Balanced on Schenck/ready to use.

Does this mean that it is neutally balanced and good to go ?

2. The same goes for the billet compressor wheel and it states the same balanced on Schenck/ready to use.

The 3rd component is a new cartridge

Can you just assemble the 3 components and be good to go OR is there more to it ?

You would need to balance the assy as a whole to be safe.:2cents:

Correct Ask BMFB he used a unbalanced turbo once.

the unbalanced one worked the best out of all of them lol, biggest trouble I had was one with a gouged rear oil seal

I would not risk it myself. I sent my rotating assembly, wheels and thrust sleeve, to Turbo and Electric. Paid around $100 for them to clean the wheels, polish the shaft and balance the assembly.
