Turbo - Boggy when boost kicks in

I have the factory dash boost gauge that, when I watch it, if my boost goes positive my truck instantly gets very rough and boggy. What do I look for to fix this, I checked some hoses to see if i had any cracks or leaks.

how soon does it bog??
check for motor mount on driver side-if broke it will retard timing-i dont think this is your problem though

get a aftermarket boost gauge and see what psi you are really building boost at, also get datamaster and see if your knocking alot.

If you look at the guage theres a -15 and a +15 as soon as the guage is right above the middle line going into the orange it will bog and my truck will just shake. Though if I do go above the the middle, it will drive just very rough with the shaking. I have a feeling its not a leak and I don't think my turbo is broke either???

The guage works fine atm, I don't have the extra cash to go out and by a aftermarket one. It will be a couple weeks before I can access a laptop to use datamaster.

the gauge is not accurate-you need another one

but it prolly will not help with diagnostic purposes anyway
