im actually hoping someone here would re burn that 40lb chip for my set up- when the time comes

IMO toss the KB chip in the trash and sell off the 40# injector to GN owner if your not going tune yourself a chip for it. Their is a 40# base bin on code $59, but you won't be able to just plug and run that without tweaking it. Otherwise their aren't too many 40# bin floating around that I know of. I have also heard the 40# injectors weren't very linear in their fuel delivery and each of the brands varied quite a bit.

That's the main thing... nobody ever knows what they have. Lucas made 42s, there were some bosch rated at 40, some siemens/deka. They all behave differently.

It's a very tall order to make a chip that runs well on a known constant set of injectors, to say nothing of the mystery injectors in the bag. You're talking a full-custom deal, minimum.

well don't worry yet guys- im far from that point of asking/ begging/ paying to have it done

ill get more info on injectors- if and when -i get myself into a jam.

they do run great on turbo buicks
-462 rwhp on a dyno which is far more then the 30 lb stocks could ever give me

and i dont plan on making that kind of power in my 324 hp truck

maybe 400 maybe not
