I have a stock motor with the Ultimate and the other usualy mods. I have been looking into a bigger turbo for a while and will probably make it my winter project. What is the best turbo to use with the stock converter? I also want a turbo with an internal WG so I can control boost with the Ultimate.

I have had good luck with my TE-44. It is a nice garrett upgrade with an internal WG like you want. It also worked well with the stock converter if I remember correctly. Anything bigger and you need more converter for sure I believe. The 44 is borderline, but certainly workable. Noticeably more power, more efficient, all on less boost.

Have you checked out the kit from Harry at PT&E??
I'm sure someone reading this has one and can tell you about it.
Custom turbine housing for the Sy/Ty's (makes #6 plug changing nice)....3" DP, high flow cat - and your choice of PT51 or 52 (maybe more...I don't know) I think the kit is like $1500 - and you will want more stall - I've got a 9/11 and I love it - talk to Brian Hartman about those.
