Ty 1548 possibly for sale

I am considering selling my 92 Typhoon. I recently purchased it, but too much power for a daily driver in L.A. I am looking to get a Ty that is relatively stock with low miles. My Ty has 27,000 miles.

Sorry to hear it did not work out for you.

A highly modded Typhoon is not a good way to start learning these trucks for sure.

Have you thought about an asking price?

Once you are sure you're selling it post it in the classifieds with the proper FS: heading and include the mods list, mileage and asking price.

BTW, this is Todd Austinson's old red/red 92 Ty.

BTW, email me for a list of all the mods it has on it. It's a long list and I don't want to take up all of the space on this site. I am looking to get around $19000

Yes, Todd needs to buy the ol Ty back.

This is my first Ty. It's fun to have a fast car, but I want to do it on my own. I want to learn about the car as I put it together the way that I want to. It's not that I have a leadfoor either, but thanks for that idea, I wouldn't have thought of that. So, to take back my previous statement, power really isn't the problem, I just want to put a truck together on my own.

Here are the pics I had posted for Mark when he sold the truck.

Ok, I can see your point.

Btw, what Momo wheel is that? I can't find anything close to that design on the Momo website other than the "Runner" model.

You mean weeks, and maybe even days. I remember when I sold my Suburban to buy another. That was over 3 years ago and I still don't have the new one. Within a week after selling it I was ready to actually pay the new owner MORE money to get it back.

Once I get rid of this TY, I plan on getting another one immediately, so it is not like I am getting rid of Ty's forever. I just want a stock one that I can work on myself. It is a great truck though, but so are all Ty's.

I'm glad most of my wrench sessions are over for the time being. I'm burn't out on fixing/upgrading cars. I can understand wanting to learn more about the car by working on it yourself, but you still have a nicely put together package in that Ty. Maybe you could help someone else with their Sy/Ty projects to gain experience and still keep yours.

The steering wheel is a Momo "Club 3". Don't know if they still make it. I put a lot of bood and sweat into that truck in 9 years. I still haven't driven a more streetable Ty that was capable of an 11 second 1/4. No $ and no room though for another car in my garage.

Any one know where the thermometer and compass in this picture came from...

I'm assuming it came from a Bravada but some more specifics and part #'s would be cool.
