Yesterday on my way home from the AFB I saw a silver volkswagon GTI.. I raced one about a month ago. As I cruised up to catch him, he kept going faster...hmm I wonder if its the same guy I raced last month...back then he did the same thing. On the highway, he would speed up while I pursued him....I did a fly by just before my exit and he put on his hazzards on I guess as a sign of approval...anyway, yesterday I cruise up, he goes faster....I get right behind him, in moderate traffic, he tries to out accelerate me again but this time I didnt fly by, I just stayed behind him...what was interesting was I had to wait for his car to accelerate but once it going his car pulled real hard....In some respects it really wasnt a race but this time I was real impressed at what his little car could do. There was too much traffic for me to pass him but he initially tried to out run me...I definitely underestimated what he could do considering my first encounter was an easy victory..It was the same car I raced before and I'm sure I'll see him again but this time I think I will remove any doubt that he can hang with my Typhoon...again I have to give props to the GTI, his was impressive.....
