typical ty offsets for aftermarket rims?

i am loking at getting a new set of 18" x 9"rims
just wondering what typical offsets you guys are running f/r?
I would like a little of that staggered look in the rear, so i am guessin a lil more offset rear, but dont know where to start. thanks!
