I doubt you will be able to run 16-18 PSI on 93 octane, that's just the reality of our trucks. Your truck would have to be in flawless tune and even then it probably wouldn't work. I spent years on mine and I still can barely run 15 PSI with 0 knock on straight 93 octane.

I know of some people who have gotten 17 psi (no KR retard) out of pump gas on stock SyTy's (no alky)

No, I doubt it would even run, even if it did run, it would run like crap.

It'll run... pig rich, but it'll run. It'd barely get out of its own way.

There was never a good 40# chip made. The ATR and KB offerings were both really bad.

You are very lucky then... Are you seeing 16-18 PSI on Datamaster or just on your gauge? The reason I ask is out of 4 autometer Boost gauges, I've had 2-3 that have been off by 1-2 PSI... One got so bad I had to get it replaced under warranty. It would read 2 PSI with the engine off.

I've had my ups and downs.. i've seen 6kr on 12lbs of boost etc but somehow i've hit the sweet spot for now

I too had a autometer lunar boost gauge that was off by 2lbs right out of the box in my mustang.. I called them they replaced it right away and the rest was gravy so im aware of those kinds of possibilities but I was referring to datamaster's findings. I've been too lazy to up the boost and install my meth kit especially since I see zero knock
