Uppdates on the fastest Sy´s in the world?

Hi there folks,

I´m a curiose man and the info flow on the 3-4 fastest Sy´clones have dropped to 0,zero, zip, nada since Robert run the historic 8??

We all know about Roberts Sy, Its on a "slow boat" to US nat´s and so are we..
Its ready to run records as is right now..

Hoovers was ready to install the new engine a couple of weeks ago,
How is things in progress, is afully quiet from them??
Is the engine the same consept as erlyer or, a rumor says they opted for higer compression in the cylinders??
Is the engine in and running yet??
Have they run some testruns yet?

Ed Hess what happende to him??
Nearly not a sign of life from his side sins the 8 was cracked.
Has he dropped the practise turbos and put on the realy big ones yet?
Have he unleashed the beast?
Done some track time and some more fine low 9 et´s
Reatched the "easy coming" 8´s yet??
The 60´times would´nt be a problem if he can smoke the tires as the pic´s show´s..

Ande the V8 Syclone in Idaho, he did run a nice realy nice 9.04
Then they blow the engine, how´s things goes for them?

And Bad news???


Now for the BIG Question....

Are they COMING to the nat´s or not??

Not that I really want to talk on here but.............if Matt Hover ran his truck at sea level dont you think that your big 8.98 would have been beat hmmmmm I think so,Maybe we will all see what happens on a REAL track in sept.......Dont worry we will all be there and hopefully it will be a good time with alot of fast trucks

Sorry to not have much to say, but my knee is pretty messed up

at the moment i have all i can do to walk!

hobleing around trying to work doenst leave much energy to want to do anything else.

I have to meet with the surgeon later this week and i have no idea when this will get scheduled, hopefully soon.

Apparently i tore the meniscus, so even changing plugs is a challenge.

And unlike people like waller who thinks he knows all about it ( people just write a check to do their truck) i do all my own work so it just isnt getting done at the moment.

my leg looks like the elephant man right above my knee.

At this point it looks like y'all are just gonna have to wait to get you collective ass's kicked. lol

I have respect for those like you and the hoovers who do their own work and make things happen. I have none for those that open up their checkbook and buy it. trust me I know what it's like to spend the $ to make it go fast and lose motors along the way. I can't even begin to imagine how much I've spent and to build something like roberts truck and the hoovers dwarf mine. respect is to be earned not given.

I checked in with Ed the other day and because of his knee he is not his energetic motivated self. He'll get back on track soon.

Did´nt know you had been in an accident? or that you injured your knee, hope you dont have to wait too long to get well..

Wish you the best on your way to recovery, hope to se U at the nats, if so even only in person.. love to meet people face to face.

Yea this is one of the reasons we does this trip.. Yes its Roberts dream to meet you all and to compete against the fastes Sy´s in the world..

BUT also to end this "REAL track", sea level, High altitude, downvard slope," its now at the nat´s equal terms for everybody, bee there or shut up, to be rude..

We dont have the best tracks in the world in sweden, would love to see U do good times on our track´s. the chance for us to do faster times is obvius, we are going to the "REAL tracks" now

Tore mine (no surgery though...lots of ice and elevation) on a training exercise...god the army has really beat me up.
