Upper intake manifold.

This has been sitting on the shelf for a few years, so it's time for it to go. Upper intake only (I do not have a lower intake). It's in decent condition, so cracks or stripped bolt holes, just needs to be cleaned up. If it doesn't go in a week, it's going on eBay.

Are the letters the deep or shallow imprint ?

I would consider it deep based on the intakes that I have seen. I know Adam (syo237) has an intake with a pretty shallow engraving on it. If I put an "Arizona" quarter in one of the letters, it comes up to the bottom of the 2008. Using my trusty digital micrometer that translates into approximately 1/8" deep.

hummmmm, I could use one for a project Ive been thinking about, but if the deep ones are hard to find or something, I dont wanna mess it up :lol:

i wouldn't consider these hard to find. the one on my truck is about as deep.

I would consider it deep based on the intakes that I have seen. I know Adam (syo237) has an intake with a pretty shallow engraving on it. The lower the truck numbers usually have very shallow script. It seemed to get deeper through the years. Yours is a deep one for sure... The intake on the last 1993 typhoon at the Homecoming Meet in MI 2007 looked like the grand canyon. It must have been 3/16" deep !

Can you tell me the total with shipping to 92223 ? I was looking for another deep one like the one on my truck, but so far I have 2 spares that are both shallow imprint . Send me a PM with Information

could it be that the later ones are deeper because they weren't polished as much? i don't see they changed the molds

The 2 shallow imprint spares that I have look just like the deep one on my truck as far as finish goes but to give you an idea on how they look the one on my truck is .095 deep and the 2 spares are .020 deep.
