Has that been at i-state? Looks really familiar, the striping and such. Nicely done.
What's the motor build? Coupla turbos would fit in there quite nice...
Pics will be coming soon... gotta get the PS pump etc all bolted up, and resolve the valve cover gasket issue.

Yeah, he raced the heck out of it a few years ago,just not sure about there. Has been taking it easy the last 2 years, has always talked about selling it, but he needs something to replace it with. It's a Wheeler 486 pump gas engine. Runs low 10's through the pipes with street tires. Never touched the nitous in it. I'm trying to get him to go to Fargo one weekend ,just to meet hi half way . Very clean car and super nice guy.

Shaking this up again....
So, the general plans are:
Golf - Sometime on the 25th?
Car show and Famous Dave's cruise 26th.. late-night woolyness.
We can do a code59 tech session thingy, if folks wanna.
Breakfast and ? 27th.
Gonna cross-post to some of the Buick boards as well.
So, you folks who missed Homecoming, you can get a SyTy fix a bit more locally.

I would love to be out for this, however... since i will be getting married that weekend i dont think i will be able to make it. I will have the ty out that weekend so if you see a black ty leading a pack of cars thats me followed by the wedding party.

yeah i think dan was talking about the aspen/gray, theres also a green/green sy around too, im waiting for a call for a tune up on it...
if people want to meet up earlier than car-craft or for a meet of our own before the show we can do that at my place. should start getting a role call of RUNNING trucks and go from there.

I'm pretty much 90% in for this. There's a few things I'm trying to get done on the ty. Worst case is I will be going with dad in the nova and my brothers big block malibu. Will probably be just a saturday visit for me. I can bring beer(Canadian stuff) if you guys want me to.

ill have to figure out what im going to bring down what day , bring my 70 nova down to maybe make another run at the dyno challenge but i would also like to bring the ty down and possibly have mr dig do a quick once over on the puter side so i know where to go from there.

Thinking of throwing together a Minnesota/ND SyTy page, so we can maybe draw in some of the not-board active folks to this meet.
How does MoNSTER sound as an acronym:
Minnesota or Northdakota Syclone Typhoon Enthusiasts and Racers
Obviously monster.com is, uh, taken. But we can have mnster.com
Also looking for volunteers to help create/maintain contact lists of owners. (Those that do want to be contacted, that is)
Not gonna worry about charging dues, or anything crazy like that... just have a contact point for people who want to take part in events and stuff.
