30 over, 2.02/1. L-35's, 422 cam, 20g. A mechanic friend recommended going ur6 and tighten the gap to .030. Thoughts?? Recommendations? I've read the explanation of heat #'s but still confused. Thanks.

Depends on where you look.....I've used the UR6's, they are not as easy to find in stock as the UR5's.
Are you spraying alky? What boost #'s do you run? I moved down to .030 gap from .035 when I started running 18-20psi. I've used the UR6's, they are not as easy to find in stock as the UR5's. If your running pump gas and over 18psi I'd recommend trying the UR6's gapped at least .030. Depending on your results at .035 with 18-20psi it could help. It eliminated some ignition breakup I was having at 18-20psi by going to UR6 at .030. I'm currently at .028 on UR5's with same results. Make sure your wires are in good shape before making changes
