Urgent!! Door locks locked while not closed...

he guys-

help, I'm stuck at work....

I was drying out my door jams and accidently hit the latch that goes up when the doors are closed to lock the door. How do I get them down so I can close my doors for the drive home...ahh!!

put a scredriver in the hole of the lock and pull handle at same time

Yup.
Done this a few times.
Scares the shit out of you when you slam the door and your teeth rattle....

Looking at the latch put the screwdriver where the striker post would be, while pulling up on the handle push outward on the latch and it will release.
